My co worker informed me that I got a call from Lisa smith and I have t call her back ASAP, because my social security number was reported to them.... S I called back but a man answered and he said a cash advance company filed against my social security number that I have not paid a loan and was returned , I admit that I made a payday loan on line... But all of that was a short tern loan,,,, and deducted immediately that next payday. He said I have to make the payment right away with debit card or credit card for him to hold the file... I told him I don't have credit card or debit card.... And I have to check my statements first.... On Monday he is expecting my call.... Now I know that that was scam.... Trying to scare people.

calling multiple times, leaves no message. Calls even after 9pm.

Called me 4 times back to back threatening me that I better call him back or else he would hate to be me. But he doesn't tell the company he is calling from.

THIS PERSON KEEPS CALLING MY PHONE. WHEN YOU CALL BACK THE PERSON IS NOT RECIEVING PHONE CALLS.

CALLED MY HOME NUMBER, WORK NUMBER AND CELL PHONE NUMBER ALL WITHIN A 5 MINUTE TIME FRAME.. DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE ON ANY OF THE VOICE MAILS. I CALLED IT BACK AND THEY ASKED ME IF I WAS EMILY.. I TOLD THEM I WAS NOT. THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD TAKE MY NUMBER OUT OF THEIR DATABASE. BUT WHEN I INQUIRED ABOUT HOW THEY HAD ALL OF MY NUMBERS AND THAT BOGUS NAME.. THE LADY JUST SAID IT WAS A MISTAKE AND THAT SHE WAS DICONNECTING THE CALL NOW. THAT WAS IT.. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL CALL BACK BUT IT WAS A LITTLE SUSPICIOUS TO ME.

Started yelling that I am going to get arrested at my job and that there is a warrant against my name and my social security number. He was very rude. He called my job and that upset me so bad that I had to walk away from desk and call him back. I advise him to never dial my number again or I will report him to the FTC and the FBI and the police. I got scammed by these people with indian accent before and lost a lot of money and I will never let it happen again.

Yep, calls our office, too. company said to be IPA. Definitely a sales call. We asked to be put on their no-call-list but they keep calling. They will never get through to the owner here!

I received a voicemail from this moron saying he was "Officer" Shawn Phillips. Stated my SSN, address, etc. and that he was calling from some Federal financial institution and that someone would show up at my job and/or home address. I called back to inform him that I am a debt collector and that what he was saying is illegal. I researched the number and found this to be happening to people other than myself. Ultimately, after informing him that I knew this was a scam and that I am going to the FTC, he hung up.
